Dave McClelland has been appointed National Account Manager for Charcon, the commercial hard landscaping division of Aggregate Industries.

Dave has 26 years of previous experience at Marshalls, having most recently operated as National Infrastructure Manager. As National Account Manager for Charcon, he will be responsible for managing the company’s portfolio of accounts whilst assisting the business in achieving its ambitious growth plans.

Commenting on his new appointment, Dave said that he was delighted to join the Charcon and wider Aggregate Industries team: “So far, I have been very impressed with the company’s customer-focused approach, which champions tailored solutions and continuous improvement. This is clearly visible across the whole business, and in an organisation of this size, is very refreshing.

With my extensive experience of the sector, I hope to build on the business relationships and market knowledge I already have in place. My focus will be on identifying new opportunities to widen our customer base to help the business deliver on its long-term plans for growth.”

Mark Barter, Sales Director at Charcon, added: “We are incredibly lucky to be welcoming Dave to the Charcon team. His industry knowledge and experience is invaluable and means he has been able to hit the ground running. Dave will play an integral part in driving our business forward and I look forward to working with him to realise our ambitions.”
