Chinese resort onto a Wynner with Renderplas grandeur

  • 4 Dec 2017

Renderplas has supplied PVC external render beads for the luxurious Wynn Palace resort in Macau, famously heralded as the ‘Las Vegas of China’.

More than 38km of the company’s stop and corner beads have been used in the construction of the incredible 29-storey resort, which features a dazzling lake with dancing fountains, plus a Golden Dragon statues to greet guests on arrival.

Inside the multi-billion dollar Wynn Palace, there is a lavish hotel, boasting in excess of 1,700 rooms and suites, a gigantic casino and a variety of extravagant retail and dining venues.

Renderplas PVC beads, in stylish ivory, suit the resort’s gleaming rendered façade extremely well, creating a perfect, durable finish sure to stand the test of time.

Manufactured from recycled exterior grade, impact resistant, UV stable plastic, Renderplas products offer a strong yet inexpensive solution, guaranteed not to stain or corrode over time; so unlike galvanised steel beads, they are the ideal choice for a emphatic resort such as Wynn Palace.

Also, given Renderplas beads are manufactured in PVC and not metal, there are no problems in handling or transporting them and importantly, resistant to damage. This means less waste, so simpler to cut and install on site.

Strong and maintenance free, Renderplas PVC beads provide customer a supreme mixture of stunning visuals, durability and ease of installation.

The beads for Wynn Palace provided a clean, clinical finish, alongside an impact-resistant reinforced edge to the render at door frames, windows reveals and at changes to materials used in the façade.

Managing Director of Renderplas Ltd, Daniel Leedham-Green,  commented on the company’s role in the project.

“Our team worked directly with the project’s Chinese surveyors, engineers and building contractors to provide a superior solution for a superior resort,” he said.

“Renderplas beads have played a key role in creating a stunning finish to the façade and the success of this project shows how a UK company can compete with the best in the world.”
