Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters provide installation savings

  • 7 Nov 2014

The meters are suitable for Building Services and Energy Management

Providing major installation savings, little maintenance requirements and maximised availability, the clamp-on meters offer a reliable solution for Building Services or Energy Management.

Liquid flow metering including LTHQ, Chilled water and DHWS plus flow measurement for thermal energy monitoring are areas whereby clamp-on meters such as U3000 and U1000 offer the best solution.

The U3000 and U1000 meters are significantly cheaper to install when compared with traditional in-line meters and deliver maximum availability through dry servicing and minimal maintenance.

The U1000 ultrasonic permanent/fixed clamp-on flow metering system for measuring flow rate features a volume pulse output and optional 4-20mA flow rate signal, allowing it to be used as a stand alone meter or as part of an aM&T or BEM’s system.

The Ultraflo U3000 meters offers a quick and accurate flow measurement designed to provide sustained performance in industrial environments such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical.
