Ritec’s award-winning ClearShield System is developed for the renovation, protection and maintenance of both new and previously installed glass.
The system has been designed to reduce the amount of window cleaning required by up to 70%, without affecting the transparency or solar gain of the glass.
We’re always looking to enhance our range and offer our customers the latest technological enhancements, commented Ian Short, managing director at Morley Glass & Glazing.
The ClearShield System from Ritec complements our SGG BIOCLEAN self-cleaning glass from Glassolutions which is already a hit amongst our conservatory installers.
ClearShield is a polymeric resin which, when applied to ordinary glass, cross-links to form a strong chemical bond.
The non-stick solution is completely transparent, chemically inert, non-hazardous and UV stable.
ClearShield differs from a coating, as it becomes part of the glass to prevent peeling, flaking or cracking.
The result is low-maintenance sealed units which feature glass that prevents contaminants from bonding to thesurface and limits further damage caused by corrosion and chemical attack.
Morley Glass & Glazing has received full training by Ritec to apply ClearShield onsite for pre-installed glass and in the factory onto new glass.
