A comprehensive selection of grey PVC roofline and cladding products from Freefoam has been specified for installation on a Leicestershire-based property.
Whereas doors, windows and roofline specifications were once limited to white, the external building products market is now experiencing a trend towards colour.
Developers, architects, specifiers and homeowners alike have seen the benefits of using colour as a signature for their projects or personal properties.
In response to this trend, Freefoam Building Products has developed fascia and soffit in eight different shades and woodgrain finishes; its cladding products can be specified in ten contemporary colours.
‘Our colour range gives customers a wide range of options to meet the demands of today’s market place,’ says Colin St John, the company’s Commercial Director for the UK.
Coloured PVC specification for Leicestershire home
The Leicestershire building’s upper level was originally finished in render, which had become mottled and discoloured. It needed to be covered, or completely replaced. The property’s white fascia and black guttering were also in need of an update.
A local supplier, Tru Plastics, recommended Freefoam’s range to the homeowner.
The homeowner specified Fortex Pro, a PVC cladding in a Double Shiplap style board, for the building’s exterior in the shade Slate Grey. A complementary woodgrain foil finish fascia and soffit was specified in Anthracite Grey, along with a gutter system of the same colour.
