Commercial heating company offers prize for its oldest boiler

  • 22 Jul 2015

Hamworthy Engineering began on Poole Quay in 1914; since then, the group has expanded, enjoying worldwide recognition for its products.

Hamworthy Heating is keen for pictures of its retro boilers to add to its family photo album

Specialising in commercial heating and hot water, Hamworthy Heating is a former division of the Hamworthy Engineering Group.

A trip down memory lane

Hamworthy introduced modular boilers to Britain in the 1960s and the company is fascinated to see where its eldest boiler is now.

To celebrate Hamworthy Engineering’s impressive milestone, it is encouraging its customers to send in pictures of their old Hamworthy boilers to add to its collection.

The customer who captures the oldest boiler – be it in their plant room or on a project they are working on – will be in with the chance of winning an iPad Mini.

To enter the competition, tweet a picture with the name of the site and boiler serial number to Hamworthy Heating.

Alternatively, the company can be reached by email at marketing@hamworthy-heating.com
