Compliant and creative aluminium windows & doors from Senior

  • 13 Sep 2021

Hitting low U-value targets doesn’t mean missing out on design flexibility. This is thanks to Senior Architectural Systems’ stylish range of PURe® aluminium windows and doors.

With the thermal-efficiency of aluminium windows set to become even more important in light of the pending changes to Part L of the Building regulations, Senior’s patented PURe® system can offer specifiers functionality and flexibility thanks to the extensive range of design options, styles and configurations available.

The unique system benefits from a high-performance PUR thermal barrier. This allows significantly lower U-values to be achieved, without compromising on the overall aesthetic of a scheme.

Manufactured using strong yet slim aluminium frames, Senior’s PURe® windows are available in a choice of styles. These include casement, tilt and turn, overswing reversible and parallel push opening styles.

Tilt and turn

With the tilt and turn and casement options offering U-values as low as 0.71 W/m2K and 0.73W/m2K respectively when calculated as a CEN commercial standard window, the two styles can also be integrated with the PURe® Mutiframe system to offer even greater design flexibility.

Senior

Senior’s PURe® aluminium windows are not only fully compatible with the manufacturer’s other fenestration solutions, including the company’s popular SF52 aluminium curtain wall system, but they can also be used to great effect when specified alongside PURe® aluminium doors which are currently available for use in both commercial and residential settings.

Comprising the PURe® FOLD and PURe® SLIDE patio style doors and the PURe® Commercial Door, which is Senior’s largest and strongest door to date, the range benefits from the same patented PUR thermal-break technology which gives exceptional low U-values.

A tried and trusted solution

The PURe® range has been specifically designed to meet, and where possible, significantly exceed current building regulations. This gives specifiers a tried and trusted solution to meeting future requirements and lower thermal targets.

The full range is also available in a wide variety of colours and finishes, both inside and out. This is via Senior’s state of the art in-house powder coating facility.
