Condensing combi-boiler offers compact heating solution

  • 3 Aug 2015

At 515mm wide, the Vortex Pro Combi XS has been dubbed as the “slimmest oil-fired condensing combi-boiler on the market.”

Offering 26kW, it has been designed as a replacement for older oil-fired combis, which tend to be smaller in size but incredibly inefficient.

The Votex Pro Combi XS boiler has been described as the “slimmest oil-fired condensing combi-boiler on the market”

Vortex Pro Combi XS

The new combi incorporates the existing components of its larger version, offering the same domestic hot water performance and combustion efficiency.

However, the main difference between the two models is the 24 litre expansion vessel, which is supplied as an ’externally fitted vessel kit’ with the XS, rather than fitted behind the boiler’s front door.

Neon diagnostic indicators have been included to make the boiler user friendly; it also offers energy efficiency, with an ErP energy rating of A for heating and B for hot water.

It operates quietly to ensure minimal disruption.

Vortex range

The compact Pro Combi XS was developed to ensure that Grant’s boilers can be used to directly replace older, inefficient models.

It completes the Vortex range, which comprises over 45 different model variations.

With outputs ranging from 12 to 70kW, the range works to reduce the environmental and economic impact of hot water and heating systems by lowering fuel bills and reducing carbon emissions.
