Instant UpRight, Tideway Tunnels and CEMEX are among a number of companies that have already committed to exhibit at this year’s Civils Expo
Set to take place at Birmingham’s NEC, as part of this year’s UK Construction Week, Civils Expo hopes to bring building and construction professionals together following Brexit: some of the country’s largest infrastructure projects are facing an uncertain future and a united front is needed.
Many industry names have taken advantage of this opportunity, signing up for exhibitor status prior to the event.
Building materials company, CEMEX, was quick to rebook for this year’s expo, after experiencing success at the first event, which took place last year. The company will be exhibiting its designs and launching a new concrete product at the show; it will also be hosting a series of interactive competitions across Civils Expo’s three days.
Similarly, Instant UpRight – a global provider of aluminium access solutions – intends to use Civils Expo as a platform to introduce its Instant HD Modular Scaffolding System to the UK. As the event offers exposure to construction professionals from across the country, Instant UpRight has deemed it the ideal place to launch its new Modular Scaffolding System.
Highlights from the company’s comprehensive range of products – such as its Spandeck walkway systems and mobile aluminium scaffolding towers – will also be on display.
Visitors to Civils Expo will benefit from the opportunity to network with companies and individuals from across the entire British construction industry. The show will also provide information on current infrastructure projects: Tideway Tunnel, for example will have a stand where visitors can explore the new sewer site via interactive tablets and a 3D augmented reality model.
Tideaway will also be showing aerial overviews of the project, which is currently in progress, and a detailed construction animation timeline.
