Contour launch Covora low cost LST radiator range

  • 29 Oct 2015

Contour has launched a new value-engineered low surface temperature (LST) radiator, primarily designed for general healthcare, educational and commercial environments.

Ideal for contractors who are working to price-sensitive budgets, the Covora LST radiator is available in a range of colours, including Oyster White (RAL 1013), Tele Grey (RAL 7047) and Jet Black (RAL 9005), making it ideal for areas where appearance is just as important as functionality.Covora colour options

The high quality, safety compliant radiator is also available in more than 150 sizes to suit single convector, double panel plus and double convector radiator models.

The cover is manufactured from 1.2mm mild steel as standard. It features bullnose corners and half bullnose edges to increase its strength and reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall against the cover.

Covora radiator guard

Supplied as a one-piece unit, the Covora radiator guard comes complete with pre-fabricated cut-outs for valves, skirting boards and pipework, for an easy and fast installation.

The guard is punched with 5.5mm wide radius grilles, making it easy to clean. The narrow grille width also prevents most small items being inserted.

The Covora radiator emitters and guards are covered by Contour’s ten-year and five-year product warranties respectively.

BioCote coating

With White (RAL 9003) paint as the standard finish, the radiators are powder-coated to an average thickness of 60 microns internally and externally.

The Covora LST radiator also comes with an optional silver-based anti-microbial BioCote coating. This helps to reduce the risk of infection transmission in environments where the maintenance of hygiene is of utmost importance.

The Covora radiator is available to order directly from contour, with short production lead time available from 10 days.
