Converted storage containers transformed into trendy office space

  • 24 Sep 2014

ContainerVille tenants, dubbed the ‘New Eastenders’ due to their proximity to Shoreditch, Hackney, The City and West End, pre-let many of the containers before the fit out was complete due to the high demand for space.

The containers were transformed into a fully functioning space that can accommodate up to five people, with a single container being rented for a price of £1200 per month, or individual desk spaces for £320pp per month.

The landscaping around ContainerVille provides a perfect place for workers to socialise and The Estate Office Shoreditch has received significant interest from prospective clients needing a start up base for their company.

ContainerVille offers a dynamic solution to the lack of office space in London and is yet another demonstration of how ‘used’ and ‘recycled’ materials can be incorporated into building projects in order to reduce waste.
