Cool-phase ventilation and cooling system achieves RAL Certification

  • 21 Nov 2014

The phase change material has the equivalent of 25 years of service life

The figures achieved by the phase change material during the cycles is the equivalent to 28 years of life in service, which well exceeds the five year Cool-phase guarantee and the 25 year design life estimated by Monodraught during its own development programme.

RAL Certification is an audited test designed to assess the long term performance of Phase Change Material and how it will conduct itself when used within the built environment.

The certification has proven to specifiers that the Cool-phase system is a low energy cooling, ventilation and heat recovery system that reduces the running costs of buildings whilst creating a healthy interior environment without compressors or hazardous coolants.

The Monodraught system used intelligently controlled phase change material to ventilate and cool buildings, maintain comfortable temperatures, whilst significantly reducing energy consumption by up to 90% compared to conventional cooling systems.
