  • 8 Oct 2014

The CSR Review examines issues facing the industry at present and reviews how Saint-Gobain aims to tackle these challenges and provide skills and training in the future.

The introduction of an advisory panel, comprising customers, NGOs, charities and sustainability experts, as well as figures from WWF, Shelter and Balfour Beatty offering advice and guidance, has helped to shape Saint-Gobain’s mission on sustainability.

The review addresses the key issues and looks at how the company and customers can decarbonise energy, reduce water use, improve employee’s health, drive innovation and ensure that resources are being used efficiently to reduce waste.

Peter Handle MBE, Senior Vice President for Sustainable Habitat, Saint-Gobain. said: “We have identified several areas in this review in which Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland can play a strong role, supporting our industry by providing future skills and training and being a strong and collaborative advocate.”
