Latest Crown Paints CPD (Continuous Professional Development) modules include safety, the environment, colour and aesthetics.
Sustainability is the focus of the latest CPD, called ‘Different shades of green – delivering paint sustainability’, building on Crown Paints award-winning Earthbalance® programme.
The CPD looks at issues around paint and coatings and BREEAM including:
Other CPD modules include ‘Burning issues – the hazard of painted walls and ceilings,’ which broadens participants’ knowledge on the safety attributes of flame retardant coatings, as well as ‘Effective paint specification’ which explores the properties of paint and the different types of coatings and systems.
Crown Paints are industry experts in colour and 2 CPD modules are offered on the subject.
CPD covers colour psychology and the role it plays in creating atmosphere, effecting lighting and altering perceptions of dimensions and temperature. This CPD module is produced in a training video format and also provides guidance on creating and specifying colour schemes, as well as compliance with the Equality Act.
This colour-focused CPD module explains how shade can be used to best effect within an educational environment. This CPD module addresses topics similar to the other colour programme, but explores them in a seminar format and within the context of the educational sector.
