Crown Paints will feature daily on the station’s 10pm bulletin from January 1st, 2015. The agreement, struck by the UK paint manufacturer, signifies a key investment in the company’s Trade brands.
Fictitious painters and decorators will appear in recognisable Sky Sports News HQ graphics, as part of Crown Paints’ new sponsorship deal with the broadcasters.
The sponsorship package will imitate a widely recognised visual, which is commonly used by Sky Sports broadcasting, featuring fictitious painters and decorators.
Crown Paints will also run advertising on the Sky Sports website and the broadcaster’s dedicated mobile service as part of the package.
The foundation for the agreement was an existing association between Crown and Sky Sports News HQ, which has enabled Sandtex, Crown Paints’ exterior paint brand, to promote its products on the 24-hour news channel since last summer.
