Nationwide Drywall & Insulation (NDI) has been awarded £5,000 in Red Letter Day prizes, following a competition surrounding EcoTherm Insulation’s 2-in-1 insulated plasterboard, Eco-Liner.

Geoff Horry and Ken Hurst receiving the Lincoln NDI branch’s vouchers from EcoTherm.

Three NDI branches have been awarded with adventure day vouchers, having sold the highest number of Eco-Liner boards between August and November last year.

Following a close competition, prizes were awarded to staff of the NDI Newton-Le-Willows, Poole and Lincoln stores.

Customers who purchased the highest volume of Eco-Liner were also awarded prizes.

Ian Austin Plastering Ltd took the top prize, whilst Dorset Drylining and Total Timber (Formby) Ltd were the runners-up.

2-in-1 plasterboard

EcoTherm Eco-Liner comprises a fibre free PIR insulation core, pre-bonded to a 12.5mm gypsum plasterboard facing. The design allows internal walls to be insulated and dry-lined in a single application, therefore saving time on installations.

Eco-Liner boasts a thermal conductivity of just 0.0022 W/mK and is listed by the Energy Savings Trust.

The boards are also ideal for internal applications on pitched roofs or rooms within the roof. The plasterboards can be cut to size with a fine toothed saw and can be fitted with plaster dab or mechanically fixed in place.
