Following Element Materials Technology’s (Element’s) acquisition of Exova Group Ltd (Exova) last year, the Fire & Building Products part of the business has officially been rebranded and, in recognition of its market leading position, Element will retain the distinct BM TRADA brand.
The BM TRADA name being preserved is in recognition of its highly regarded status in the industry; it also makes the transition easier for customers, guaranteeing existing test reports and certifications held by customers will continue to be accepted by controlling bodies and specifiers.
Furthermore, customers will continue to benefit from the investment they have made in promoting the brand over the years.
Rob Veitch, EVP of Fire & Building Products, Element, commented: “We’re incredibly proud to be part of Element, and equally proud of our distinguished brand.
“BM TRADA is a well-respected name in the testing, inspection and certification industry and has been for many years, so it is logical for us to retain this well-known and trusted brand.
“Since joining forces with Element last year, we have continued to pursue our shared goal to become the best and most trusted testing inspection and certification partner in the industry by providing consistent and industry-leading on-time delivery, turnaround times and service.
“This rebrand ensures that our customers continue to benefit from the value of the BM TRADA brand and provides them with a passport to trade.”
Element’s combined business makes it the recognised leader in testing, inspection and certification services to a wide range of industry sectors.
With 6,700 engaged experts, operating from almost 200 locations in more than 30 countries, customers now have access to increased capacity, capability and expertise for all existing and future materials testing, product qualification testing, calibration, certification and consulting needs.
