Ellis Patents has announced the appointment of Claire Walker as its new UK Sales Administrator.
Claire joins Ellis from a Ryedale print firm, where she held a similar sales role. She lives in North Yorkshire, close to the company’s Rillignton base in Pickering.
She will work in conjunction with Ellis’ new Sales Manager, Dawn Williamson, to expand the company’s domestic sales operations.
Whilst UK sales currently account for around half of Ellis’ annual turnover, the company is keen to focus on growing export sales.
Dawn and Claire will be encouraged to work with the company’s British distributors – including ETS Cable Components and MacLean Electrical – to develop the sales side of the business.
Meanwhile, Ellis’ active CPD programme is raise brand awareness among EPC contractors and consulting engineers, encouraging further growth.
