“In 30 years of working with Alumasc, I have never come across a project that it is not possible for us to complete.
When the possibilities are endless, it helps to have an experienced guide to help any self-builder or self-renovator get the best out of their masterplan.
Alumasc have spent over 70 years making a name for themselves as manufacturers who uniquely work alongside architects to advise on and help design products that will not only be functional but feature as part of the building’s overall aesthetic.
Skyline aluminium fascia, soffits and copings are a bold example of Alumasc’s skill with bespoke craftmanship. Using existing shapes as a base, each element can be crafted to fit bespoke specifications. All elements are manufactured from high quality, polyester powder coated aluminium, using the Raincote range of colours in a BBA approved process.
It has often been said that Skyline is not so much a range, rather a collection of ideas and designs for a client, which their appointed architect and Alumasc will work on to hone into the perfect balance of all elements.
A Skyline installation, while there to perform a function, can be a prominent and striking design feature of any building, be it residential or commercial, large nor small.
To ensure the design process is as smooth as possible, the consultation stage is vital. Our national team will visit any project site to measure it up, discuss all the client’s ideas and requirements and provide personalised, solution led recommendations.
After this, all specifications are sent straight to the estimating team to prepare a detailed project quotation.
Throughout the process, our Technical Specification Managers and technical team will always be available to discuss any issues if they arise, keeping in contact with the client or project architects.
We also have a network of Alumasc Recommended Installers who have a long history of working with our products and ongoing working relationships with our team, to help things run seamlessly. They are available to offer a full supply and fit package.
The Skyline aluminium fascia system is manufactured from high quality, polyester powder coated aluminium and is available in four bold generic shapes with bespoke designs available to order.
The fascia profiles fully enclose the gutter and may be projected direct from the elevation or combined with the soffit plank to give varying eaves overhangs.
Made to suit all designs and budgets, the Skyline aluminium Soffit system is manufactured from high quality, polyester powder coated aluminium and is available in a standard range as well as bespoke designs available to order. The Skyline Soffit plank is a secret fix modular planking system designed to work on overhanging soffits and canopies or as part of a Skyline fascia scheme.
The Skyline aluminium coping system provides a weatherproof capping to upstand parapets that is both economical and easily installed and can be used in conjunction with flat and pitched roofs. It incorporates a strap fixing method to avoid any penetration of the capping, as well as to allow ventilation over the top of the wall. Skyline copings are also equally suited to retrofit and new build projects.
Skyline also offers a wide range of additional aluminium architectural products including, window cills and surrounds, standard and bespoke canopies. specialist bullnose and anti-climb fascia profiles and column casing for both internal and external applications
Finally, all Skyline products can be finished in any one of 26 RAL standard colours, with a 30% gloss unless otherwise specified. Alternatively, anything can also be finished in any BS or RAL colour on request.”
