Encon Construction Products, a specialist distribution division of The Encon Group, expands its range of market leading brands with the addition of global geosynthetic supplier TenCate, and its Miragrid GX and GX T geogrids, available from Encon’s nationwide branches.
Miragrid is a geosynthetic product composed of high modulus polyester fibres that are knitted in a flat orientation and covered with a protective polymeric coating. The biaxial geogrids are manufactured from engineered materials and ideal for subgrade stabilisation and base reinforcement applications.
Miragrid GX is mostly used in the construction of roads and railways, for slope reinforcement in landfill and for retaining structures. The range includes tensile strengths of 30/30, 40/40, 55/55 and 80/80 and is available in 100m lengths.
Miragrid GX T is suitable for short and long term soil reinforcement applications. Tensile strengths include 20/20, 30/30 and 40/40 in 50m lengths and 20/20 in 100m length.
Richard Wade, Encon Construction Products Sales Director, comments: “We are excited to partner with a global leader in high-performing geosynthetic solutions and it is a significant development for our specialist division.
“Our focus is to provide a wide choice of building solutions from leading brands so that our specifier and contractor customers benefit from pioneering products for their building and infrastructure projects.
“Reliable service is extremely important too. We ensure stock availability backed by flexible deliveries and a vast fleet, so solutions arrive to site on time and in the exact volumes needed.”
