EPIC appoints Martin Hardwick as new General Secretary

Martin has been an active member of the construction industry for over 25 years and possesses extensive senior managerial experience with both leading construction materials supply companies and trade associations.

Martin has been an active member of the construction industry for over 25 years.

In his various roles, Martin has helped to drive forward industry engagement with stakeholders and develop closer ties between trade bodies.

Martin is a keen advocate of sustainable practice, playing a integral role in the development and deployment of industry metrics, targets and regulatory documents including sustainability Standards, BES 6001 and BS 8902.

Martin’s appointment follows the recent retirement of longstanding director Peter Trew.

Joining EPIC in 1997, Peter made a significant contribution over the years to the industry’s knowledge base through his work with insulated panel systems, in addition to with the production of a number of guidance documents in the UK and Europe.
