Exova BM TRADA offers Timber Frame Construction training

Exova BM TRADA will be holding a Timber Frame Construction training course on Tuesday 6th September 2016 at its High Wycombe site in Buckinghamshire.

Aimed at architects, building contractors, developers, building inspectors, timber frame manufacturers, quantity surveyors and clerks of works; the course will provide attendees with a clearer understanding of timber frame design, construction and use.

The one-day course, provided by the co-authors of TRADA’s Timber Frame Construction 5th edition Lewis Taylor and Robin Lancashire, will also introduce delegates to the relevant design standards and building regulations associated with timber frame construction.

Lewis Taylor is a Timber Frame Consultant who provides independent third party checks on timber frame buildings. Robin Lancashire is a Senior Timber Frame Consultant, with extensive on-site experience, who provides best practice construction advice to all areas of the timber frame industry.

Timber Frame Construction has become widely used in both commercial and residential developments in recent years for its environmental properties, flexibility and speed of build.
