Exova opens new testing site

Exova has opened a new 50,000 square foot super site in Wednesbury, UK. 

The new testing facility will unite expertise and facilities from around the UK, creating a hub of excellence in an accessible and thriving location, serving national and international customers in the automotive, door, window and hardware industries.

The new site will enable Exova to continue to provide customers with a range of technically demanding services and consultancy.

John Wilcox, Group Managing Director of Products Division said that putting all of Exova’s services under one roof will increase efficiency, improving turnaround times and giving more access to the full range of Exova skills.

Work undertaken at the site will include: security, durability and weather testing of doors, windows and hardware as well as the testing of automotive trim, components and full vehicle for corrosion, UV Weathering, Environmental Ageing, Flammability, Vibration and Emissions.
