Illbruck, a brand of Tremco CPG UK Ltd, announces the launch of the newest addition to its building façade protection range; ME055 FR Breather Membrane (White).
The latest addition to the range is a non-combustible and highly vapour permeable breather membrane that is A1 in accordance with EN 13501-1 and water resistance to Class W2 in accordance with EN 13859-2.
Designed to be used as a full façade breather membrane on new build and refurbishment projects, this solution is highly breathable, water resistant, and easy to install.
It is important to note Illbruck’s FR Breather Membrane (White) meets the fire performance for membranes installed on ‘relevant and higher risk’ building types, as defined in Approved Document B of the Building Regulations for England and Wales.

– UV-resistant up to 3 months before cladding
– High-temperature resistance
– W2 water resistance
– Classified as a breather membrane with an Sd value of 0.03m
This new product offers specifiers, architects, and main contractors confidence in product performance and suitability of product selection in a variety of applications.
Suitable for use within high-rise buildings, timber frames, lightweight steel frame constructions, and off-site construction. One can rest assured that this product boosting an A1 fire classification will perform if ever called upon.
