Expona loose lay vinyl tiles specified for biopharmaceutical headquarters

Resonate Interior Architecture has used Expona SimpLay PUR vinyl tiles for the refurbishment of Stallergenes Greer’s Bernard Street headquarters in London.

Approximately 800m2 of the heavy commercial flooring was specified in two contrasting wood effect designs: Grey Country Oak and Rich Walnut. The loose lay vinyl tiles were installed by Sanson Contracts in the reception area, meeting rooms, offices, corridors and breakout areas.

Expona SimpLay

Launched by Polyflor earlier this year, the Expona SimpLay range is an adhesive-free, ready to lay product developed to reduce installation time. Made up of 38 wood, stone and abstract effects, the Expona collection can be easily installed, lifted and reinstalled elsewhere without leaving any residue.

Like all Polyflor flooring products, Expona SimpLay is enhanced with an exclusive and robust polyurethane reinforcement, cross linked and UV cured to protect the floor and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.

The product boasts a generic BRE A+ rating in major use areas and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, assuring that VOC emissions are below any globally determined levels. Expand is also 100% recyclable via the Recofloor recycling scheme and contains an average of 20% recycled content.

Pernille Stafford from Resonate Interior Architecture commented: “We chose Expona SimpLay flooring for the Stallergenes Greer project as we needed a highly durable product that also had a high design aesthetic appeal to fit with the modern look we wanted to create for this innovative global business.”
