Expona Design luxury vinyl tiles in Natural Brushed Oak and Silvered Driftwood at The Balloon Tree Farm Shop in York

Expona vinyl tiles add subtle touch to York farm shop

  • 12 Jan 2016

Polyflor’s Expona Design luxury vinyl tiles have been fitted at the Balloon Tree Farm Shop and Café in York.

The Natural Brushed Oak and Silvered Driftwood vinyl tiles were installed by Elvinton Floorcraft at the farm shop, with the grey-toned Silvered Driftwood shade used to create a large circle in the middle of the shop floor.

With the design of the store created by The Creative Suite of York, the subtle floor design uses contrasting wood effects to highlight the displays of local produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, delicatessen, baked goods and gifts in this family run farm shop.

Owner of The Balloon Tree Farm Shop, Matthew Machin commented: “We’re delighted with the refurbishment and new floor design which has given our farmshop a modern refresh in time for our busy Christmas period.”

Expona Design range

The Expona Design range comprises 28 wood, stone and effect design options, which can be used to create individual designs and patterns by laying different designs side-by-side.

Polyflor’s in-house design team can also create complex bespoke flooring designs such as logos and motifs using water jet cutting technology.

Due to the vinyl tile’s 3.0mm gauge and 0.7mm wear layer, it is ideal for use in heavy commercial environments where there are high levels of pedestrian traffic.

The flooring collection is further enhanced with PUR, Polyflor’s robust polyurethane reinforcement which is cross linked and UV cured to make it easy to maintain.
