FAKRO’s DEF DU6 flat roof window has been awarded the 2016 Red Dot Design Award.
The DEF flat roof window is a high performance electric glazing unit equipped with remote opening capabilities.
The glazing unit boasts excellent thermal insulation parameters, high resistance against acids and very low moisture absorption.
The award reflects FAKRO’s commitment to innovation, with its team of more than 100 engineers having filed 140 patent applications.

Design Zentrum of Essen have held the Red Dot Design Awards since 1955. The awards are considered by many to be the ‘Oscars of Industrial Design’. This year’s awards saw a record 5214 entries from across 57 countries.
