FAKRO ‘Space for New Visions’ competition now open to architectural students

FAKRO has opened its International Design Competition up to architectural students for the first time.

The ‘Space for New Visions’ competition challenges architects to produce a concept for the renovation of a public building, while students are tasked with designing a residential project.

All entries must demonstrate an innovative use of FAKRO products, with evidence of design practicality, energy efficiency and sustainability.

The winning architect will be awarded €5,000, whilst the runner up will receive €3,000 and the third placed entrant will get €2,000.

The best two student projects will receive an AutoCad Revit licence and a visit to FAKRO Poland.

The closing date for entries for the ‘Space for New Visions’ competition is the 12th September.
