FFE’s latest smoke and flame detection systems on display at Security Essen

  • 11 Aug 2016

FFE will be at the Security Essen exhibition this September to showcase the latest smoke and flame detection systems in its product range. The company will display its Fireray optical beam smoke detectors and Talentum specialist flame detectors on Booth 3A62 in Hall 3.

Fireray 5000

Fireray 5000 optical beam smoke detectors are ideal for applications where the building has a high ceiling.

Designed specifically to provide protection in large buildings with high ceilings, where conventional point smoke detectors are ineffective, Fireray beam detectors are ideal for airports, railway stations, warehouses, shopping centres and sport arenas.

Talentum flame detectors recognise the non-visible ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) signatures of flames to detect fires before smoke is produced, or where smokeless fires may occur.

The system can detect flames through steam, smoke and, when used in conjunction with an Air Purge Kit, dust. The detectors are also immune to the effects of wind.

FFE re-invest 8% of its revenues back into R&D, ensuring it continues to develop world-leading technologies in the fire protection industry.

Its Fireray and Talentum systems will be on display at Security Essen between the 27th – 30th September.
