Leading European kitchen and bathroom wall panel manufacturer Fibo UK has joined the Builders’ Merchants Federation (BMF) as a supplier member.
This comes as Fibo is encountering strong growth with merchants across the country with its stylish and innovative wall panels.
Developed in Norway in 1952 and available in the UK since 1981, Fibo’s are experiencing new selling opportunities for merchants, thanks to its precision engineered panels and extensive support.
Managing Director Scott Beattie says: “Although we’ve been in the UK for many years, new owners were introduced last year and are focussed on growth.
“At the start of this year, the decision was taken to expand our UK business nationally, and since then it’s been a complete whirlwind! Investment in a new £14m factory in Norway reflects our ambitious plans.
“The interest and commitment from merchants to stock and display our products has been outstanding,” continues Scott.
“For example, BBS Building Supplies ripped out its entire showroom at their Barton Hill branch and replaced it with a fully refurbished display area, enabling a whole new experience for their builder and contractor customers.
“Our panels cover over 150m² of wall space. This level of commitment is testament to the quality of our products and the difference they’re making to merchants’ sales.
“In this period of rapid growth and expansion it makes sense to start aligning ourselves to key industry bodies like the BMF.
“We recognise the value of BMF membership and look forward to the many opportunities it will bring in helping us build new and existing relationships with builders’ merchants.”
For both refurbishment and new build projects, Fibo wall panels are ideal and are available in a wide choice in range, colour, style and finish.
Its unique Aqualock system with a tongue-and-groove design means the panels are quick and easy to install (up to five times faster than traditional tiles) thus saving contractors time and money.
They can be fitted directly onto walls, tiles or stud partitioning for added convenience, and come with a market-leading 15 year guarantee.

For groundworkers, tendering residential retaining wall projects can be a time-consuming and complicated process. The key is to tender using Tobermore’s Secura modular concrete block retaining walls rather than the default masonry specification & the Secura Portal, an online tool.
