FIT Show, the UK’s leading event for the window, door, flat glass, hardware, and roofing industries, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new Marketplace feature at its upcoming 2025 event (Birmingham NEC, 29 April – 1 May).
This exciting addition will allow visitors, particularly installers, to purchase tools and ancillary products directly at the show for the first time in FIT Show history, significantly enhancing the value proposition for attendees.
– Xpert Tools: The most recognised glazing hand tool brand among installers
– Blakeley Construction Profiles
– ER Certification
– CT1
– Camel Clamp
Nickie West, FIT Show event director, expressed her enthusiasm about this new development, commenting: “We’re thrilled to introduce the Marketplace feature at FIT Show 2025, offering our visitors an unprecedented opportunity to purchase high-quality tools and products directly at the event.
“Xpert Tools has chosen FIT Show for their exclusive pop-up, allowing installers to buy starter tool bundles on-site. This addition, alongside other respected brands, truly enhances the hands-on experience we aim to provide at FIT Show and makes time away from the tools even more worthwhile for our installer visitors.”
The Marketplace will be strategically located next to the popular Installer Demo Zone, where live demonstrations will showcase these tools in action across all three days of the show. This proximity will allow visitors to see products in use before making purchasing decisions, adding significant value to their FIT Show experience.
John Warburton from ER Certification shared his enthusiasm for the new FIT Show Marketplace, saying: “We’re thrilled to be part of the new Marketplace at FIT Show 2025. It’s the ideal platform to showcase our Certification Schemes to the large numbers of fabricators and installers attending. We’ll be demonstrating our new Energy Performance Scheme, the PLC Scheme, which we launched in 2024. FIT Show 2025 provides the perfect opportunity to reach the industry with this innovative offering.
“We invite fabricators, installers, and system suppliers to visit our stand for a demo of the scheme and see how it can be a valuable resource for them and their clients. We’ll have two demo TVs where visitors can explore our new PLC Scheme Website, allowing them to run through the filtering process to find exact specifications of products they need for their contracts.
“Our scheme is cost-effective, giving certified companies the chance to cover all their windows and doors, across all materials, at a low flat rate fee. We expect to be busy throughout the three days of the show, demonstrating the value and efficiency of our certification process.”
Tuscany Diffey, Blakeley Construction Profiles, adds: “We’re excited to be part of the FIT Show Marketplace to showcase our unique offering – any product in ANY colour. With our in-house spray paint facility, we provide PVC and aluminium trims, panels, and other goods in bespoke colours. Visitors to our stand will see our range of coloured fascia, soffit, cladding, rainwater goods, and trims.
“We encourage people to come and discover a specialist supplier who fills a niche gap in the window and door industry. It’s a great opportunity to see samples of our unique product offering and explore how we can meet their specific colour needs.”
Nickie West adds: “With the next FIT Show not until 2027, this event is crucial for installers to stay updated on industry trends and innovations. We’ve designed the Marketplace and our entire show experience to ensure that installers can maximise their time at FIT Show 2025, gaining practical knowledge, accessing exclusive deals, and staying at the forefront of industry developments.”
