Flooring companies encouraged to recycle vinyl flooring

Every flooring company raising a Recofloor collection from 3rd to 28th August will be entered into a draw with a chance to win one of three packs of Love2shop Vouchers worth £100 each.

The Love2shop Voucher is accept at over 20,00 shops including fashion, sports and home improvements stores, in addition to many restaurants and attractions.

The prizes will be offered to the first three names chosen on 1 September.

Vinyl floor recycling scheme

Founded by Polyflor and Altro, Recofloor is the UK’s national vinyl flooring scheme, which collects smooth and safety off-cuts and uplifted flooring for recycling.

The scheme has over 650 Recofloor collectors and 63 drop-off sites across the UK and Ireland.

Recofloor provides a sustainable option for end-of-life flooring, enhanced green credentials and up to 75% savings in disposal costs.

For contractors, the minimum collection requirement is two full bulk bags, and for distributors, two full blue bins. All collections must be booked in by 5pm on Friday 28 August 2015 either by phone, email or online. The collections do not have to be completed in August.
