Freefoam offers even greater colour choice for fascia and soffits

  • 4 May 2016

Freefoam has announced that additional products have been added to its extensive colour range of fascia and soffit boards.

All of its ten colours are now available in the 18mm thick Square Leg Fascia in 150mm and 250mm wide boards, in addition to the 10mm thick General Purpose Soffit Board in 175mm and 255mm wide boards.

Freefoam’s 250 and 350mm General Purpose Board is now also available in Storm Grey, Dark Grey and the increasingly popular Anthracite Grey.

Reliable colour matching and variety

Freefoam offer ten colours which offer built-in colourfastness, colour variety and reliable colour matching with a ten year guarantee.

Its coloured boards are created using its patented Colormax technology, which utilises a master-batching process with a blend of natural PVC and pigments to simultaneous co-extrude PVC building products.

All new Freefoam products are available with matching trims and fixing accessories, straight from stock with no lead time.

Coloured window and roofline products have become increasingly popular in the UK housing market in recent years. In Continental Europe most windows are coloured and in Ireland approximately half. In the UK colour has doubled in the last fifteen years to 20%, a trend that is predicted to increase in the future.

Colin St John, Freefoam UK General Manager, summarised “Our view is that colour is here to stay. As specialist colour roofline manufactures we have the expertise and capability to structure our production process to meet the changing demands of todays housebuilder and specifier.

The introduction of an even wider range of colour fascia and soffit products underlines  our long term commitment to providing customers with a marketing leading range to support this growing market.”
