Freefoam Building Products have released a new video testimonial that highlights the support it gives installers and consumers.
Homeowner Mr Eddie Bellringer sought to replace old and tired looking render on his home, so turned to Freefoam’s consumer focussed site mycladding.com.
Offering information about cladding styles, designs and colours, with the opportunity to receive samples and an installation quote from a local company, the site is designed to give homeowners all the tools and support they need in one place.
Mr Bellringer commented: “My wife and I have recently retired and we were looking to make our house low maintenance and something that would fit in with the house style and the housing estate generally.
“Freefoam sent us samples of the X-Wood Cladding and arranged for Freefoam Stockist and Installer Tru Plastics to quote for supply and fit.
“We’re delighted with the results, during installation passers by and neighbours were really interested in the products, and the installers ran out of business cards!”
X-Wood is an innovative PVC-U exterior cladding that looks and handles like wood, but without the usual maintenance issues that come with timber.
Freefoam have used their manufacturing expertise to design and produce a 16mm attractive high performance cladding board, comprised of three different layers; a heavy duty through coloured plastic foam core, covered with a durable plastic skin and then coated with market leading Renolit film which creates a hard wearing, stable material with a beautiful subtle woodgrain effect finish.
The range comes in a choice of six contemporary woodgrain finish colours, from subtle White, Cream and Greyed Cedar to traditional Oak and more dramatic Anthracite Grey and Wine Red, all with an impressive ten-year guarantee.
Louise Sanderson, UK Marketing Manager, concluded: “We consistently get good results from our consumer websites. People are looking to maintain and improve their homes, but want that process to be quick and simple.
“It’s powerful to get testimonials from homeowners that illustrate how manufacturers like Freefoam can facilitate and support homeowners, as well as delivering valuable business to our installer customer base – it’s a win, win win situation!”
