Further Q-Mark accolades for Aluprof

  • 19 Mar 2018

Leading European systems company Aluprof has been awarded further Q-Mark Product Certifications by Exova BM Trada, for a range of their window and door systems.

The prestigious Q-Mark scheme provides independent and impartial third party assessment of manufacturers claims in terms of product performance and quality.

Increased emphasis is being put on the Q-Mark scheme by specifiers, as it not only testifies for what the products claims, but it also can be followed through to site installation by using the ‘Q-Mark window and door-set survey and installation scheme’ for installers.

Whist initial audits are carried out when certificates are successfully granted to systems suppliers and installers, keeping certification has to see them pass future company audits.

Both schemes guarantee specifiers secure the expected quality of the installed product when completed.

Fabricators and installers who are Secured by Design members can use the Aluprof Q-Mark approved systems to offer fully compliant Secure by Design installations.

Aluprof currently have their MB-70 open in and open out window certified, their MB-86 open in window certified and their MB-70 & MB-86 doors certified by Exova BM Trada.

MD of Aluprof UK, Wojciech Brozyna said: “We have long recognised that ‘installed quality’ is the basis of why construction professionals continue to specify both systems, and sub-contract companies, for fenestration products on their projects.

“The Exova BM Trada scheme is becoming well recognised as the independent and impartial third party assessment scheme of choice. At Aluprof, we continue to pride ourselves on systems design, quality and service, this scheme recognises our efforts in all these areas.”

Aluprof has added twelve more products, which are currently under audit, pending certification to complement its existing certified systems.
