The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) in conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has revealed the category shortlists for this year’s AI Specification Awards.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the biennial awards identify and reward excellence in the specification of architectural ironmongery in the construction industry.
For each category in the awards there will be a first placed project. All of the Category Winners will be put forward to be judged to decide who will be crowned the overall ‘Winner of Winners’ (sponsored by GEZE UK).
Mario Del-Signore, GAI president (above), comments: “The shortlists for the AI Specification Awards 2022 demonstrates the breadth of good work being undertaken in the industry and confirms the importance of effective partnerships between architects and architectural ironmonger.”
The winners will be announced at an award ceremony in London on 5 May 2022. To attend the event, or for more information, visit www.gai.org.uk/
