Leading garage door manufacturer Garador is having an especially bright Christmas this year after its staff joined together to support the Save the Children Christmas Jumper appeal.
Instead of normal work clothes, Garador’s employees arrived at the Somerset factory in the most colourful Christmas sweaters they could find. To pay for the fun, they each gave a £2 donation to the Save the Children charity.
George Aldred, Customer Service Advisor, comments: “Our fun sweater day is fast becoming a Christmas tradition here. By early morning coffee, we had already collected over £70 and once we do a final count we hope we will be well into three figures. Helping children at Christmas makes a lot of sense and the range of colourful sweaters gave everyone a smile.”
The sweaters covered traditional Christmas themes such as reindeer, elves and of course Santa to more unusual ideas including one of a celebrating Snoopy.
Garador says the day was a great success all round and anyone who would like to donate to the Christmas Jumper appeal can still do so through the Save The Children Charity website.
