Garador’s large natural timber range of garage doors can transform a property

  • 8 Oct 2024

Leading British garage door manufacturer Garador now offers a huge range of beautiful up & over garage doors constructed with red cedar, a lovely natural hardwood that adds real style to any home.

The cedar wood used in Garador’s doors is a renewable resource and is grown in cooler climates where the wood has developed self-protective qualities which give it a number of advantages. It is especially useful in buildings where humidity, temperature changes and cracking are problems; and while many types of wood warp when subjected to moisture; cedar stays straight and flat and should last a lifetime. This makes it ideal for a garage door.

It is also beautiful. Cedar wood has a lovely natural grain and all Garador’s timber doors are supplied with a base stain as standard. A choice of stains from antique oak and chestnut to walnut and mahogany are also available to enhance the appearance and appeal.

Garador’s expertly crafted timber Up & Over garage doors come in two main ranges: the Solid Cedar range and the Elizabethan range. The former is made using solid red cedar and comes in a large range of styles including modern horizontal and chevron designs and doors with glazed windows. The Elizabethan range, which offers very individual styling, uses both solid red cedar and plywood as a backing.

All of Garador’s timber Up and Over garage doors are built around a steel box section chassis, which provides a rigid and stable door design for easy fit and long term durability and all are available with electrical operators.

These beautiful timber doors are a great way to add real style and value to any property. Find out more at 01935 443703 or visit www.garador.co.uk
