Garador launches new GaraRoll Lite roller garage door

  • 21 Dec 2016

UK based garage door manufacturer, Garador, has expanded its roller garage doors range to introduce the new GaraRoll Lite roller door. The GaraRoll Lite has a tubular drive motor, built in opto-sensor and is fully automated with two handsets as standard.

The GaraRoll Lite roller door is a cost effective solution: with a door curtain made up of insulated aluminium laths that roll into a box at the top of the garage door, it provides more space not just in front of the garage but inside it as well.

The opto-sensor, which is fitted into the rubber seal at the bottom of the roller door curtain, is there so that the door stops and reverses if it meets an obstruction. This helps to ensure the door provides safety as well as functionality.

Furthermore, this roller door has a galvanised steel cover box; something that not all roller door manufacturers offer. By providing a cover box, the door curtain is protected from unwanted dirt and sawdust from woodworking; it also tucks the door curtain away neatly and helps to reduce any noise which as a result of the door curtain moving.

The tubular driven motor helps to provide a simpler overall construction and a hand crank comes as standard, so in the event of a power failure you can still easily open and close the door.

Each aluminium lath has two linear grooves on, an attractive design feature that helps to differentiate it from Garador’s existing GaraRoll roller garage door. There’s also three deco paint colour finishes to choose from, including a golden oak timber effect, Traffic White (RAL 9016) and Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) so you have a choice of colours to match your property.
