Gatic Civil Drainage has added a new range of access covers, designed specifically for paved areas, to its portfolio of engineered surface water drainage solutions.
Gatic Pave encompasses a system of single, duct, and multi-span access covers and frames. It has been designed for installation in parking areas and urban public spaces, where an attractive finish with a paviour infill is required.
Manufactured from ductile iron to BS EN 1563, the components of Pave covers are suitable for a maximum of D400 weight loading. The structural steel sections – Pave’s removable beams – are supplied with a galvanised finish.
As Pave covers cannot be moved without the correct lifting key, unauthorised removal is almost impossible; security can be improved further with the addition of locking bolts.
The system has been designed to sit steadily under slow moving traffic, and provide a watertight joint under normal rainwater conditions. Closed keyways are fitted with plastic plugs to prevent ingress of dirt.
Gatic offers a range of ductile iron and machined access covers to meet the increasingly diverse demands of the UK’s roads and infrastructure.
