Geberit and Twyford highlight accessible Doc M solutions in new brochure

  • 20 Jun 2019

Geberit and Twyford have launched a new brochure revealing the company’s unique understanding of the industry, and its capability to provide the perfect all-round piping and sanitaryware solutions to the sector.

The ‘Everything Healthcare’ brochure includes information on the company’s Doc M offering, which has been developed to make the specification process of accessible solutions easier.

The selection includes a range of products that have been chosen to reliably support and maintain every aspect of healthcare estates, including the category-defining Twyford Doc M packs. With seven variants to choose from plus the inclusion of close-coupled, back-to-wall wall-hung toilet and shower options, the Twyford Doc M packs provide an accessible solution to suit all budgets and applications.

From robust grab rails and raised height toilets, to long and short projection toilets and accessible washbasins, the Twyford range of Doc M packs have been designed with full accessibility in mind.

Complying with all surface finishing requirements and to ensure the visually impaired can safely navigate the washroom, all Twyford sanitary fittings including grab rails, toilet seats and support arms are available in white, blue and grey to contrast the floor and walls.

The packs include the option for a TMV3 WRAS approved thermostatic mixing tap which prevents scalding through a built-in thermostat. Alternatively, a TMV3 approved external blending valve is supplied. This facility is especially suitable for users with tactile sensitivity, while also helping reduce the risk of bacterial proliferation.

The extended projection of the Twyford toilet pans and raised height feature ensure wheelchair transfer is simple, while short projection ceramics including handrinse basins help maximise the usable space in the bathroom.
