Get to know the Gilberts Tile Diffuser

  • 3 Jan 2018

The new GTD (Gilberts Tile Diffuser) is a unique development from the Blackpool-based company that offers a near-invisible method of working ventilators into a perforated ceiling.

Gilberts’ development and application of air distribution solutions guarantees optimal ventilation of the interior below, with no cold spots.

Gilberts’ Sales Director, Ian Rogers, explains the vast benefits of the tile diffuser: “The technology we’ve employed in the GTD enables an uninterrupted and seamless ceiling grid, so it is completely unobtrusive.

“The GTD range delivers great performance, even where there is little free ventilation area, but our innovative technology means that a fresh atmosphere is constant, without draughts. Most people won’t even know there is a vent there.”

The first launch will see two versions introduced; the GTD300 and GTD600. The former is a cost-effective and versatile that fixes magnetically onto the back of the 300 wide plank tile.

Gilberts’ in-house test facility has fully validated both version, with no other diffuser, as far as Gilberts are aware, having the capabilities to perform with such a small free ventilation area.

They also compliment Gilberts’ established ranges, including the patented GS range of swirl diffusers, which can be easily be fitted into and enhance the visuals of ceiling configurations. Gilberts’ air movement solutions also include grilles and louvres.
