GEZE brochure highlights benefits of developing smart buildings

  • 22 May 2017

GEZE UK launches a new brochure, Smart Solutions, encouraging architects and specifiers to ‘switch-on’ to the benefits of developing smart buildings.

The brochure highlights safety systems and drive technology which can be used to create innovative networked and modular solutions which allows GEZE windows and doors to be controlled from a single source.

For homes and commercial buildings, the IO 420 and the IQ box KNX interface modules can be integrated via widely used communication standards for homes and commercial buildings.

Multifunctional GEZE products for doors and windows, combined with networked system solutions, guarantee effective smoke and heat extraction, fire compartmentation and clear escape routes. For buildings which have restricted areas, GEZE access control systems enable clear routes of escape – initiated when the system is triggered.

The brochure also features products which can best be integrated with BACnet and KNX interfaces, not only for automated escape route doors and emergency exits, but for smoke and heat extraction systems, automatic sliding doors and automated ventilation.
