GGF appoints architectural glazing expert as Technical Officer

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has announced the appointment of its new Technical Officer, Richard Kells.

Having previously worked at upstream manufacturing plants, glass processing operations and as a glass consultant, Richard is qualified to provide technical advice and support for a variety of commercial and domestic architectural glass applications.

His expertise lies in architectural glass strength and solar, optical and thermal performances of most glass types. He is also educated on the sorts of visual and performance faults that glass may develop in service.

With over 30 years of experience, Richard has learnt a lot from the glass and glazing industry. The GGF hopes his knowledge and skillset will help to maintain and enhance its current Technical team’s operations.

Richard comments: “I am very excited to have joined the GGF and look forward to supporting GGF Members from within the technical team.”
