GGF confirms new format and speakers for Members’ Day

The Glass and Glazing Federation has announced its line-up of speakers for the 2016 Members’ Day which will take place at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Thursday 29th September.

This year’s event will feature a string of keynote presentations covering the political landscape, the economy, architectural glazing and digital marketing.

Heading its line-up of guest speakers this year is Declan Curry, an international business journalist renowned for fronting the BBC’s Business Breakfast and On the Money television programmes.

Joining Declan will be Bruce Nicol (Business Development Director, Dow Corning), Graham Hansell (CIM Digital Marketing Course Director and MD, Sitelynx) and Ethan Spibey (Political Analyst and Advisory, GK Strategy).

A new format

The 2016 Members Day will follow a new format to ensure delegates will have more networking time and debating time at the Chairman’s Forum.

  • 10.30: Registration/coffee reception/networking
  • 11.30: Welcome
  • 11.35: GGF Overview (direction, strategy and benefits)
  • 12.00: GGF AGM
  • 12.15: Two-course lunch
  • 13.30: Keynote Presentations
  • 14.50: Chairman’s Forum (Key topics debated with GGF Chairmen and Delegates)
  • 15.25: Closing remarks  
  • 15.30: Networking drinks

The GGF sponsored People in Glass (PIGs) Birmingham Event will also take place one mile away from the venue at the Pitcher and Piano. The event starts at 17.00 and all GGF Members are welcome.
