GGF launches new Health and Safety Webinars

  • 31 Mar 2021

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) announces the launch of its new Health and Safety Webinar Programme.

These consist of a series of lunchtime webinars, where members and non-members can hear from industry experts and special guests.

James MacPherson, GGF Health, Safety and Environment Manager, will be hosting the webinars. He has devised the programme to offer greater benefit to GGF Members and the wider industry on Health and Safety.

On this exciting new initiative, James says: “We are pleased to launch these regular Lunch and Learn Health and Safety webinars.

“We piloted the programme in March with two powerful and popular keynote speakers Jason Anker and Sean Toon delivering a presentation on ‘Five Seconds for Wellbeing’.”

Following that introductory session, various webinars over the coming months will cover a range of subjects.

These include health and safety basics, introductions to human and organisational performance, and organisational drift.

“It promises to be an exciting programme, that will provide really useful information and benefits for GGF Members and the industry in general,” James adds.

Webinars are running from April through to September, with the next webinar on 6 April (12.30 to 1.30pm). This includes a talk from a Health and Safety Executive expert.

The topical subject will be ‘How to manage mental health and wellbeing’.
