GGF supports the Conservatory and Orangery Awards

  • 9 Apr 2019

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has announced it is supporting the inaugural Conservatory and Orangery Awards, organised by Glass and Glazing Products (GGP) magazine.

The GGF is not only promoting the awards, for which the deadline for entries is Friday 12 July, but will also be involved in the judging process. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 30 October 2019, at the first ever Conservatory & Orangery Awards at The Midland Hotel, located in the heart of Manchester’s city centre.

Over the course of the building’s 100 year history, the hotel has played host to kings, queens, presidents, prime ministers and rock stars.

Luke Wood, Editor of GGP (pictured above), commented: “The Conservatory & Orangery market has come a long way since the stereotypical ‘white box’ with poly-carbonate roof.

“Today, homeowners are presented with a stunning array of products and services, from orangeries to solid roofs, dynamic glass to stylish lanterns.

“The Conservatory & Orangery Awards have been launched to recognise the innovation, talent and skill that has been the driving force behind this transformation in the sector.”

James Lee, GGF Director of External Affairs, expressed the companies delight at being involved with the Conservatory and Orangery Awards.

“The GGF’s Conservatory Association is a unique specialist group within the GGF Membership and is very keen to support these awards which should give the entire sector a great boost. I would encourage all companies operating in the conservatory sector to enter these new awards.”
