Gilberts expand manufacturing facilities due to increase in demand

  • 27 Jun 2016

Gilberts Blackpool is expanding its manufacturing and warehousing facilities due to an increase in demand for its advanced grilles, louvres, diffusers and natural ventilation solutions.

The extension will deliver an additional 7,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing at its Blackpool headquarters.

The company’s head office currently includes an 85,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Gilberts manufacture every component in house, even as far as designing and engineering its own tools and dies.

Gilberts’ headquarters also includes a 4,400 square meter air distribution test laboratory. The test centre enables thorough, accurate testing of air distribution grilles, diffusers and natural ventilation terminals to establish their full aerodynamic performance including throw, temperature, pressure and acoustic data.
