Keane Environmental visit Gilberts (Blackpool) for the grilles and diffusers event

Gilberts hosts grilles and diffusers seminar

  • 23 Nov 2015

Gilberts (Blackpool) recently hosted a grilles and diffusers event at its national headquarters for clients of Keane Environmental, one of the most prominent suppliers to the heating and air conditioning industry in Ireland.

The one-day seminar covered best selection practice training, smoke test demonstrations, nomogram use, updates on product technology and a factory tour.

Gilberts’ Technical Director Roy Jones explained: “The aim was to give delegates a better understanding of considerations in their selection and specification process, and keep them ‘up to speed’ on leading edge design & technology.”

“Gilberts is the only British manufacturer to have, in-house, the technical and computational capability, and a state-of-the-art test centre, to give truly comprehensive training in air movement. As such we are uniquely positioned to provide tailored, bespoke training for engineers and designers, so they are best equipped to do their job.”

Ian Rogers, Gilberts Sales Director, added: “This was the first of many such days we intend to facilitate, to give the industry the support tools and background knowledge with which to deliver effective, efficient air movement.”
