Quality door hinges from SFS have helped London-based Grabex Windows expand its interests in the timber residential doors market.
The leading window, door and conservatory fabricator and installer has worked in partnership with SFS for the past five years, inhabiting a 45,000 square foot manufacturing facility at Orpington.
This guarantees all products are custom-made, in-house to a supremely high standard. This has resulted in said products featuring in a build on popular Channel 4 property show Grand Designs.
Grabex Windows’ impressive growth over the last ten years is no doubt due to the company only using high quality materials and components, something which is seen in its timber residential doors, which are encountering considerable growth as homeowners and developers long for natural beauty, performance and sustainability benefits of timber.
Part of the popularity of these doors is that they feature high-performance, European-manufactured, precision-engineered Just 3D hinges from SFS.
Designed for flush-fit doors, they provide adjustability in three dimensions; height, horizontal and gasket pressure, ensuring a precise fit for the doorset to deliver exceptional quality.
Managing Director of Grabex Windows, Michael Grabowski, commented: “We use SFS Just 3D hinges as standard on our timber doors because they deliver the quality and performance that our customers expect from our doorsets.
“We’ve established an excellent reputation for quality, which has helped to drive our business growth, so we really value components like the Just 3D that we can fit and forget, safe in the knowledge they will stand the test of time extremely well.”
The Just 3D is part of the SFS range of hinges, which also features the new W-Tec 3D+, a robust concealed hinge designed with stabilising the opening and closing of the door in mind and the Easy 3D hinge for heavy entrance doors and a choice of pivot, adjustable and standard hinges.
